My name is Wesley Neville. My music ranges from acoustic Instrumentals to acoustic rock songs, I call it Acoustic/Progressive/Rock. I’m from a small town in southeast Texas called Woodville. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but I got to be in a battle of the bands with my previous band Chrome. An executive from Reprise Records wrote on our grade sheet F***ing A+. We were invited to play at the Hard Rock Café in Dallas, Tx. It was shortly before that the band broke up due to personal differences between the singer and the drummer. After Chrome, the singer Jason Voth and I started a little side project that we called The Acoustic Experiment. We recorded six songs under the name of The Acoustic Experiment. Currently I am restarting my music career with the intensions of doing instrumentals and have some acoustic rock songs thrown in the mix. A couple of the songs I did with The Acoustic Experiment will be featured on my debut album. The release date for the album is set for January 2009. The songs that don’t make the album will be for sale on my website www.myspace.com/wesleyneville . When the album releases you will be able to find my songs on all your favorite music buying websites (ex. iTunes, CDBaby, ect.) After Chrome won the battle of the bands we got the pleasure of opening Dog Jam 3 in Beaumont, Tx. We got to be on the main stage and opened for 3 Doors Down, Sevendust, Seether, Shinedown, Presence, Revis and Element 80. Im thankful I got to meet them, they gave me a chance to see what it was like to be one of them. After Dog Jam 3 was when chrome broke up, and I started going down a different road with my music. So here we are today with me working on my debut solo album. I will have updates on my myspace page www.myspace.com/wesleyneville . You will be able to listen to select songs before the release in January 2009. |
